Caramany Island is a protected area belonging to the Ampurdan Marshlands located above the mouth of the river Fluvià. You can make a nice walk from the center of Sant Pere Pescador village to the Gola beach, following the course of the river, where you will observe the rich flora and fauna that lives here. It is a very familiar flat ride that can be done on foot, bicycle and even kayaking, since the waters in this section are very quiet.
