The old mouth of the Ter River, which was diverted in the mid-nineteenth century, has some little lakes of great natural value around which live birds and grows a wetland vegetation. It is next to the beach of l'Estartit and extends south from Griells Beach to Platera Beach, to Gola de Ter (nowadays river Ter mouth), almost in Pals village. You can walk or bike through this fields, because it has flat paths, very easy to cross.
