Anchovy Museum in l'Escala village, Costa Brava north, shows visitor how important is and has been this industry during centuries here. This fishing tradition starts in XVIth century and the permanent exhibition show diferent historical objects as fishing tools, boats and techniques used for fish captures. Also the industrial process used to keep the anchovy with salt and packaging for distribution. The Anchovy Museum is opened during all year in center village, near the main beaches in l'Escala.
