The borough of Arbúcies, at the heart of the Montseny Natural Park, in addition to a route through the landscapes that inspired the painter Santiago Rusiñol, has retained the castle of the Viscounts of Girona-Cabrera.
The medieval chronicler Bernat Desclot described the imposing Montsoriu Castle as “one of the most beautiful and noble in the world”. Indeed, he was right.
